History Designs

When my mom reads a book for history (right now we are reading Red Badge of Courage)
Isaac and I like to make designs with these blocks that we have.

The Girl of the Limberlost

Today for my classic reading in school I finished the book :The Girl of the Limberlost.

The story is about a girl who doesn't have enough money to go to school. Here mother is NOT the nicest person in the world so it made everything harder. She lives in a place like a swamp where there are a lot of bugs and butterflies. So she collects butterflies and such and sells them to a woman in her town. She finally gets enough to go to school with some help from her neighbors and finishes the year above everybody else. The next year she wants to go to college but finds out she had less money than she thought from the last year. So she hunts more. She eventually finds this guy who ends up helping her with her work over the summer (who I might add is already engaged) and....(like everybody does in classics)...falls in love with her. He ends up going home but wants to go and see her more. Then everything goes down hill from there.

It took me a while to read it because everybody my age knows that classics are more boring than other books =). I suggest someone reading it when your older than I am but overall it was an "ok" book. It all adds up to be a fairytale book.
